Celebrating Heroes In Our Community

Do you know someone in your community who has made a positive impact through human connection – by bringing people together, helping them feel part of something bigger than themselves? We want to hear about them!

If selected by BCLC, you and your Community Hero will have the chance to pump up the Vancouver Canucks by cranking the siren at a home game.
Since 2020, BCLC has partnered with the Vancouver Canucks to celebrate and recognize local heroes across the province who give back in their communities.

About the BCLC Community Hero Program

BCLC is proud to celebrate individuals making a difference in their community. The BCLC Community Hero Program has expanded to celebrate individuals from all across British Columbia who have had a positive impact in their communities. The BCLC Community Hero Program recognizes and provides heroes and their nominators a VIP Experience and the opportunity to take part in the pre-game tradition of pumping up the home crowd as the Vancouver Canucks take to the ice.

Tell us about a hero in your community and they could attend an upcoming Vancouver Canucks home game as a BCLC Community Hero!

BCLC in Your Community

At BCLC, we believe in the power of human connection. Whether it’s through the excitement of a shared win or the pride of knowing your play gives back to B.C., we create opportunities for people to come together and feel part of something bigger. This includes celebrating the passion, dedication, and support of everyday heroes and the personal contributions they have made in communities throughout B.C.
