All selected heroes will have the chance to pump up the crowd at a Vancouver Canucks home game by cranking the siren at puck drop.

For the 2024-25 NHL season, BCLC is partnering with the Vancouver Canucks to celebrate and recognize local heroes from all across the province who give back in their communities. Selected heroes may also have the opportunity to attend BCLC Community Heroes Game Night – a special home game dedicated to BCLC Community Heroes at Rogers Arena.

BCLC is proud to celebrate individuals making a difference in their community. This year, the BCLC Community Hero Program is expanding to celebrate individuals from all across British Columbia who have had a positive impact in their communities. The BCLC Community Hero Program recognizes and provides an individual the opportunity to take part in the pre-game tradition of pumping up the home crowd as the Vancouver Canucks take to the ice.
