The Canucks’ annual Celebration of Women in Sport is part of the NHL’s Hockey is for Everyone initiative. Each year, this special event honours and applauds the achievements of girls and women in hockey, while promoting and advancing growth and inclusivity in the sport.

 

In partnership with the Grindstone Award Foundation, a BC-based organization dedicated to providing financial support to young female hockey players, the Canucks have helped empower girls across Canada to play and thrive in the game they love. Over the years, the Canucks for Kids Fund has proudly donated over $80,000 to Grindstone, supporting countless young athletes in their hockey journeys and contributing to the growth of the female game.

 

Women’s Empowerment Night happens at Rogers Arena on March 4th, during the Canucks’ matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes. Don’t miss out on this exciting and celebratory Community Night event, proudly presented by TD.
