Core Beneficiaries

The Canucks for Kids Fund dedicates resources to assist charities who support children’s health and wellness, foster the development of grassroots hockey, and facilitate and encourage education in British Columbia.

BC Children’s Hospital Foundation

The relationship with BC Children’s Hospital goes back to the formative years of the Canucks for Kids Fund. BC Children’s Hospital treats the province’s sickest and most seriously injured children, combining to help more than 72,000 patients a year. As BC’s major treatment, teaching and research facility for child health, the importance of the hospital can be felt province-wide.

Canuck Place Children’s Hospice

Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and the Canucks for Kids Fund have shared a significant bond over the history of the two organizations. Since opening its doors in 1995, the Canucks for Kids Fund has granted Canuck Place more than $27 million. Canuck Place offers focused pediatric care for children with life-limiting conditions, as well as facilitated support for their families.

Canucks Autism Network (CAN)

In a few short years, CAN has become a leading organization that enhances the quality of life for families living with autism. Their mission is to provide year round, innovative and high quality sports, recreational, social and vocational programs for individuals and families living with autism. Additionally, CAN strives to build awareness and capacity through community networks across British Columbia.
